Michele's original landscapes are all painted in oil on wood panels. She employs the "Old Master" style of using thin, transparent layers on a traditional wood panel ground to achieve a true-to-life effect, and capturing the essence of the east end's signature light. Although all landscapes are never duplicated, Michele has accepted commissions based on past paintings, and often revisits certain sites for new works.
